12월 15일 화요일 4시 ET (3CT; 1PT) 에 뵙겠습니다.
Dear Korean American Social Work Educators Association members,
It is an honor to announce scholarship fundraising for doctoral students who are virtually attending the Council on Social Work Education 2020 Annual Program Meeting (2020 CSWE APM) and the Society for Social Work and Research 2021 annual conference (2021 SSWR). Due to COVID 19, many programs across the US have eliminated funding for faculty travel.
The pandemic has also forced social work programs to freeze hiring. Thus, it is more critical for our doctoral members than ever to attend, present, and build their career path at the APM and SSWR. Even though the conferences are in a virtual format, they are not free. KASWEA is conducting another round of fundraising to relieve our doctoral members’ financial burden related to these conferences. Because we are fully aware that many faculty members are experiencing financial finch too, your financial support for our doctoral students will greatly be appreciated. We will go through this challenging time together and this also shall pass. Please consider your kind contribution to this effort so that our doctoral members experience one less block to achieving their career goals. We are humbly asking for your kind donations and we thank you for your ongoing support.
Thank you in advance for your generous support. Please feel free to contact the fundraising committee chair, Dr. Jaegoo Lee, at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any questions regarding this fundraising event.
The Scholarship Fundraising Committee, KASWEA
